Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

Policy Details

You may CANCEL your transaction, without any penalty or obligation, within THREE BUSINESS DAYS from the date of placement of order. If you cancel, any property traded in, any payments made by you under the contract or sale and any negotiable instrument executed by you will be returned within TEN DAYS following receipt by the seller (Zolt Energy Private Limited) of your cancellation notice, and any security interest arising out of the transaction will be canceled. If you cancel, you must make available to the seller (Zolt Energy Private Limited) at your residence, in substantially as good condition as when received, any goods delivered to you under this contract or sale, or you may, if you wish, comply with the instructions of the seller (Zolt Energy Private Limited) regarding the return shipment of the goods at the seller’s (Zolt Energy Private Limited’s) expense and risk. If you do make the goods available to the seller (Zolt Energy Private Limited) and the seller (Zolt Energy Private Limited) does not pick them up within 20 days of the date of your notice of cancellation, you may retain or dispose of the goods without any further obligation. If you fail to make the goods available to the seller (Zolt Energy Private Limited), or if you agree to return the goods to the seller (Zolt Energy Private Limited) and fail to do so, then you remain liable for performance of all obligations under the contract. To cancel this transaction, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of this cancellation notice, or any other written notice, to Zolt Energy Private Limited, B-7, 3rd Floor, Block-B Community Center, Janakpuri, Delhi – 110058 NOT LATER THAN MIDNIGHT of the date that is THREE BUSINESS DAYS from the date you signed the PowerPlan Agreement.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment or a cheque will be issued in your name and will be mailed to you at your indicated address, within a 10 working days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at

Acceptance of this Refund Policy

It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with this refund policy. By placing an order for any of our products, you indicate that you have read this refund policy and that you agree with and fully accept the terms of this refund policy. If you do not agree with or fully accept the terms of this refund policy, we ask that you do not place an order with us.

Returns (if applicable)

Our policy lasts 90 days. If 90 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions need to be met:

  1. Zolt has not met with ALL the obligations that were promised in the Sales Promises Checklist signed by you during your order placement.
  2. You have met ALL your obligations and responsibilities as promised in the Sales Promises Checklist.
  3. The actual generated units over the 90 days are less than 80% of the minimum guaranteed units, force majeure conditions notwithstanding.
  4. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  5. Any item that is returned more than 90 days after delivery.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at or contact your Solar Consultant.

Force Majeure

Zolt Energy Private Limited will not be responsible for non-performance of any or their entire obligation under this contract if such non-performance is due to reasons beyond the control of Zolt Energy. “Force Majeure” situations are also included in the expression “beyond the reasonable control of the Vendor”. “Force Majeure” shall mean any event or circumstance or combination of events or circumstances which prevents the Party claiming Force Majeure (the ‘Affected Party’) from performing its obligations under this Agreement and which event or circumstance which is beyond the reasonable control and not arising out of the default of the Affected Party; The Affected Party has been unable to overcome such circumstance or event by the exercise of due diligence and reasonable efforts, skill and care; and which has a Material Adverse Effect on the subsistence of this Agreement. Such events or circumstances shall include, without limitation, the effect of any natural element or other acts of State or God, including but not limited to, fire, flood, earthquake, lightning, cyclone, landslides or other natural disasters, strikes or other industrial disturbances, war, riots, civil commotion, terrorist attacks, embargoes, blockades, governmental restriction, intervention of civil, naval or military authorities, change in Applicable Law.
